sedução, perversão, estórias mórbidas, sadismo e obscenidade. É com essa
temática que a banda de Porto Ferreira, interior do estado de São Paulo, no
Brasil, se lança para fazer um Death Metal ao mesmo tempo ríspido e altamente
trabalhado.
O nome da banda, 'MAITHUNGH', provém de uma extinta seita onde seus seguidores
obrigavam as mulheres a realizarem todos os tipos de orgias em suas reuniões e
quando elas não aceitavam, tinham o clitóris removido para viver sem prazer.
Formada em março de 1998, a banda começou a dar seus passos até o ano 2000
quando a banda se separou e seus músicos seguiram carreiras com outras bandas
notáveis do cenário brazileiro, tais como: Setharus, Adágio e Brutal Death.
Voltando a ativa no final de 2007, com sua temática intacta e com maior força e
maturidade a banda lança sua primeira Promo com 4 faixas e obtém grande repercussão
positiva e um contrato com o Selo Free Mind Records.
